AUBURN — Nellie V. Dyer, 92, of 2714 Hotel Road, died Sunday, Nov. 22, at her residence after a long illness with her family at her side.
She was born in Minot, Sept. 1, 1917, the daughter of Irving and Grace (Bean) Taylor. She was educated in Auburn schools. She was the widow of the late Walter Albert Dyer, who died in 1987. She was a daycare provider for many years. She enjoyed reading, being with family and friends and had been very active in the Marston Corner Baptist Church for many years.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Holt and her husband, William Jr., of Poland; one sister, Joan Russell and her husband, Stephen, of Dover, N.H.; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Janice Gagne in 1995; and by two brothers, Ralph E. and Richard H. Taylor.
