On Nov. 17, 12 students from the Jay High School Future Business Leaders of America and National Honor Society spent time at Sandy River Nursing Care Center talking with the residents and helping make Thanksgiving turkeys to use as door decorations. The students asked the residents about Thanksgiving memories and to name their favorite Thanksgiving food. Each of the residents had an opportunity to make a turkey with the help of the students. Advisors for the groups, Linda Davis and Paula Swenson, accompanied the students.
