NORWAY — Items for the Western Maine Art Group silent auction will start to be on display on Friday, Nov. 27, with new items added until the annual holiday party on Sunday, Dec. 6.

All are invited to visit the Lajos Matolcsy Art Center and place a bid on many items donated by local businesses, artists and friends. One does not have to be present to win. Those who have an item to contribute to the fundraiser may bring it in during gallery hours or call the gallery for pick up at 739-6161.

Raffle tickets are also available for the original Lee Bean painting and a table and chair set handmade by Don Gouin. The tickets for the raffle items will also be drawn at the holiday party on Dec. 6.

The Lajos Matolcsy Art Center is located on Main Street in Norway Center. Winter hours are from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
