Rebecca Jo Turcotte
1962 – 2009
LIVERMORE FALLS — Rebecca Jo Turcotte, 47, a resident of Moose Hill Road in Livermore Falls, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, at her home with her loving family and friends at her side.
She was born in Farmington, Sept. 16, 1962, the daughter of Eugene E. and Ruphelle (Lambert) Turcotte. She was a graduate of Livermore Falls High School, furthering her education at Thomas College in Waterville. She earned her certified nursing assistant certificate and also her CDL truck driving license.
She worked at IP on the construction crew and also had been employed as a truck driver for Aulenback Trucking in Mexico. She had also enjoyed working as a cleaner at Sugarloaf.
Becky was a member of the VFW, Frank L. Mitchell, Post 3335 Auxiliary of Jay.
She enjoyed music and dancing and most of all nature. She loved to travel to new places and meet new people and have a good time and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She always looked forward to spending time with family and close friends, and especially enjoyed the children. Being an avid nature lover, she also liked to hunt, fish and tend her gardens.
She is survived by her mother, Ruphelle Turcotte of Livermore; brothers, Howard D. Jackson of New Vineyard and Timothy E. Turcotte of Livermore; a sister, Alta Ruth (Turcotte) Martin and her husband, Orrin Jr., of North Jay; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends who were like family to her.
She was predeceased by her father, Eugene E. Turcotte in 2004; and a brother, Leroy “Skeet” Turcotte in 1976.
