LEWISTON — Bangor Savings Bank has announced plans to move into a permanent, spacious, full-service branch at 882 Lisbon St.

The bank’s business office at 198 Main St. will remain open through Jan. 22, 2010, then those operations will move to the new branch.

The new branch also fulfills a goal of finding a better location for the Lisbon branch, which will close Feb. 12, 2010, and those operations moved to the new branch in Lewiston.

The bank has notified its customers about the upcoming changes.

Joining the bank will be new vice president and branch manager Christine Bosse, a well known, longtime banker in the Lewiston/Auburn region.

The bank will not be reducing staff as a result of the consolidation.
