Doris Jurgilas

RUMFORD — Doris Jurgilas, 83, died unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 29, at the Rumford Hospital with her immediate family by her side. She was a resident of Hancock Street in Rumford.
She was born in Newark, N.J., Dec. 27, 1925, a daughter of Harry and Louise (Maas) Runnacles. She was a graduate of North Arlington schools. She worked as a bank teller in Newark, N.J., prior to her marriage. She enjoyed traveling and sewing and spending winters at their Englewood, Fla., home
She was married in North Arlington, N.J., to Francis W. Jurgilas, who survives of Rumford. Other survivors include a son, Frank and his wife, Sue, of Harpswell; a daughter, Barbara Gill of Auburn; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ada Langan of Lowell, Mass.
