Margaret M. Greenleaf
1916 – 2009
SOUTH PARIS — Margaret M. Greenleaf, 93, of South Paris died Sunday, Nov. 29, at Market Square Health Care Center.
She was born in Oxford, Jan. 20, 1916, the daughter of Joseph and Annie Burton Trebilcock. She graduated from Oxford High School and had been a homemaker all of her life.
Later in life, she worked in the kitchen at the Oxford school. She was a member of the Oxford Congregational Church and the church guild. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and sewing. She married Ernest Greenleaf in 1937. He passed away on July 13, 1981.
She is survived by her sons, Lawrence of Northport and Richard of Oxford; and two grandchildren, Neil Greenleaf and Amy Greenleaf, both of Belfast.
She was predeceased by a son, William, who died at birth in 1953; her twin brother, Frederick Trebilcock of Oxford, who died at an early age; and three sisters, Hazel Larue of Portland, Grace Wood of Rochester, N.H., and Bessie Grover of Oxford.
