Rita M. Rousseau

LEWISTON — Rita M. Rousseau, 92, of 10 Village Drive, died Monday, Nov. 30, at Montello Manor.
She was born in Lewiston, May 12, 1917, the daughter of the late Philippe and RoseAnna Richard Samson. She was educated at the Pensionnat de l’Ave Maria in Sabattus. She married George A. Rousseau in 1946. She was an award winning pianist acquiring a gold medal in 1937 for her accomplishments.
She was a member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul and the Ladies of Ste. Anne Sodality.
She is survived by her husband, George of Lewiston; one daughter, Felicia Ouellette and husband, John, of Lewiston; one granddaughter, Jennifer Elliott and husband, Mark; and two great-grandchildren, Emily and Joseph.
