The Maine Turnpike Authority on Tuesday announced lane closures for Wednesday:

• At mile 68 in New Gloucester, a northbound lane closure is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for guardrail repair.

• At mile 81.4 in Lewiston, north and southbound lane closures are scheduled for 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Route 196 bridge for bridge work. One lane will remain open in each direction through completion of the project in July 2011; 50 mph work zone speed limits are in effect.
