As part of the National American Legion Auxiliary program "Give Ten for Education," Barbara Henley, left, and Joyce Clifford, right, of Stone-Smart Unit 82 in Norway, visited the Guy E. Rowe School and met with the teachers and Principal Sincerbeaux on Nov. 3 in the library. They brought pencils, crayons, books on American monuments and the book "Street Through Time." They explained the program, which encourages units to help schools in their area. Part of program is to honor and remember teachers. Henley and Clifford brought them apples and cookies, along with a thank you card.
