John G. Malcolm

WISCASSET — John G. Malcolm, 57, of Oxford, died Sunday, Nov. 29, in Wiscasset.
He was born in Everett, Mass., Sept. 3, 1952, to Stan and Laura (Bird) Malcolm. He had worked most of his adult life as a certified locksmith.
He was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in Norway, where he belonged to the church group and the Disciples of Mission. He attended a culinary art school, liked the Patriots and the Red Sox. He especially liked his cats, which he called his girls.
He is survived by his wife, Prescilla of Oxford; his mother, Laura Malcolm; two sons, Derrick J. of Yorba Linda, Calif., and Scott J. of Oxford; one sister, Bobbie Jean Bedell of Haverhill, Mass.; and four brothers, Kenneth of Atkinson, N.H., Richard of Holliston, Mass., Ronnie of Montgomery, Texas, and Stan of Ashland, Mass.
He was predeceased by his father, Stan; and two brothers, Bill and Kenney Malcolm.
