WALES — Lakeside Chapter 60, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet for a potluck supper at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, at the Wales Grange Hall, 322 Centre Road. The meeting will be at 7 p.m. and will be a Christmas celebration with “Songs, Poems and Fun.”

Members are asked to come dressed for Christmas and to bring and share a favorite food and other Christmas favorites.

The chapter will take a collection to benefit the veterans at Togus in lieu of a gift exchange between members.

The Angel and Buffalo Herd Travelling Emblem was brought back from the Golden Sheaf Chapter in New Gloucester and will be awarded to the chapter in District 4 with the most visiting members present.

The chapter will be in recess for the months of January and February and will resume meetings on March 9, 2010 with the annual meeting preceded by a 6 p.m. potluck supper.
