BRIDGTON — The downtown Bridgton community candlelight stroll and winter holiday tree lighting ceremony will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5.

Participants will gather at Pondicherry Square between 4:45 and 5 p.m.
There will be 2,000 candles distributed as folks arrive.

At 5:15 p.m., the candles will be lit and the group will begin a stroll along Main Street, up over Methodist
Hill, down to Post Office Square and will arrive at Stevens
Brook Park and the Main Street winter holiday tree, across
from the Bridgton Public

The group will sing holiday songs and count down to the tree lighting. Following the tree lighting, there will be a Festival Of Lights Parade of holiday floats.
