Girls’ Track
 Coach: Rebecca Hefty (4th year)
Last year’s record: 23-0, KVAC champs, 2nd at Class A state championships
Returning letter winners: Seniors – Ashten Hackett, Chyla Hiott, Jessie Nyholm, Katherine Harmon, Felicia Binette; Juniors – Abby Hart, Bri Robbins, Ashley Butler; Sophomore – Liz Stauffer.
Key losses: Emily Dodge, Muriel Schwinn, Danielle Paul, Josie Lahey, Diana Kruszewski, Steph Elwell, Carmen Lasagna, Becca Barton, Lauren Brown, Kelsey Blanchette, Lauren Bennett, Audrey Bennett.
Promising newcomers: Junior – Sam Lamson; Freshmen – Taija Ayotte, Kaylee Caron, Megan Coddington, Katie Hummes, Alexis Leclerc, Paige Martin, Ayumi Ranucci.
What to expect: For the first time in a while, the Eddies have a youth-driven team, and a smaller squad than in the previous year. As with most indoor track seasons, though, the talent at the top can ultimately determine how a team finishes overall, and the Eddies lost a bunch, but had plenty waiting in the wings. A solid group of seniors should help lead the team into contention again.
Outlook: “With hard work and commitment, anything is possible with this group.” – Coach Rebecca Hefty
