Promising newcomers: Girls: Rebecca Barton, Lauren Bennett; Boys: Nathan Mulligan, Zachary Tannenbaum, Scott Morrow.
Outlook: Campbell, the longtime cross country coach, hopes to start rebuilding the Nordic ski tradition at EL. He begins with an experienced girls’ team. The boys return after essentially being dormant for a year.
Coach’s comment: “We’re enlisting the help of the YMCA and trying to bring back Edward Little as one of the top cross country ski programs in the state of Maine. It’s just going to take some time.”
