Key losses: Girls: Natasha Varney, Melissa Kelson, Laura Dacyczyn, KayAnna Beeckel; Boys: Lauren Turner, Nate Theriault.
Promising newcomers: Girls: Freshmen – Brittany Tiner, Jackie Gauthier, Maddie Wiegman. Boys: Sophomore – Nate Miller; Freshmen – Tim Enos, Benjamin Ramser, Justin Bean.
Overview: Leavitt lost some top skiers from the team that won the Class A girls’ title and was second in the boys’ state meet, but the depth and talent remain outstanding. Fereshetian and McGray will be top skiers for the girls. Adams, Chase, Drouin and Rabon lead the boys, who may be the Hornets’ best bet for a title this winter.
