Returning letter winners: Juniors – Danny Vaughn (6-0 forward), Zach Brands (5-9 guard), Ben Field (6-5 center), T.J. O’Connor (6-0 forward), Elek Pew (6-1 guard/forward); Sophomores – Dan Whitney (5-9 guard), Corey Howard (6-3 forward).
Key losses: Alex Gundersen (center), James Kimball (forward), Joel Putnam (guard).
Outlook: Despite not having any seniors and losing Putnam, who transferred and figured to be their leading scorer, the Rebels should still be competitive in the MVC. A lot will depend on how well they play defensively. Vaughn, a three-year starter, Field and O’Connor are all fine rebounders. Pew is their top defender. Whitney will run the point.
