Returning letter winners: Girls: Senior – Megan Bonney; Boys: Sophomores – Ben Lewis, Matt Keane, James Piccirillo, Adam Mahar.
Key losses: Girls: Katlyn Keane; Boys: Lance Brown, John Lewis, Will Chapman, Patrick Gallagher.
Promising newcomers: Girls: Juniors – Kimberlei Dean, Taylor Maines, Cheyenne Day, Melody Royer.
Outlook: Mahar and Lewis lead a boys’ team that is young and small in number, but talented. Bonney is the lone girls’ skier with experience, but Speth noted that the junior newcomers are good, all-around athletes and that she is excited about the chance to work with them for two years.
Coach’s comment: “All the girls have been on skis before. We have a young, developing team. We’ll see if we can do something with them.”
