Trees and wreaths

NORWAY —  A Christmas tree and wreath sale to
benefit Christmas for Teens and FFA will be held from 10 a.m. to 4
p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, at L. F. Pike and Son, 339 Main St.

Christmas party

LEWISTON — Prince of Peace Parish Rosary Sodality and St. Vincent de
Paul of St. Patrick’s Church will have a joint Christmas party at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday,
Dec. 8, at Holy Cross Seniors Hall. The recitation of the
rosary will be followed by a short business meeting, exchange of gifts
and refreshments. 

Financial aid

LISBON — Lisbon High School will host a financial aid night for senior
students and parents at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9,  in the high
school library.

They will cover the basics of searching and applying for
financial aid, as well as address the Free Application for Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA) application and creating the PIN (Personal
Identification Number) on the computer. This is an opportunity to gather important information regarding searching and
applying for financial assistance for a student’s college years.

Family skate

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Department of Recreation and the Androscoggin
Bank Colisee will offer a free family
skating event from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8. On a first-come,
first-served basis, children’s skate rental will be free; adults, $3.
Music will play as families skate at the Colisee, 190 Birch St., and food will be available for purchase.
