Jeanne C. Verrill
1939 – 2009
AUBURN – Jeanne C. Verrill of Grove Street, Auburn, died Friday, Dec. 4, at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice, with her family at her side.
She was born in Lewiston on April 2, 1939, a daughter of the late Arthur and Theresa (Cloutier) Berube. She was educated in local schools. She married the love of her life, Reuben Verrill, on Jan. 22, 1957, and together they raised their four children.
She enjoyed going for rides on her husband’s motorcycle, sewing, cooking and reading the Bible daily.
She leaves her husband of 52 years, Reuben Verrill, of Auburn; two daughters, Debra Russell and her husband, Roger, of Auburn and Bobbi Peckham of Belfast; two sons, Michael Verrill and his wife, Gail, of Auburn and Mark Verrill and his wife, Tonya, of Auburn; nine grandchildren; four brothers, Arthur Berube and his wife, Gerry, Leo Berube and his companion, Lucy, Henry Berube and his wife, Germaine and Roland Berube and his wife, Linda.
