Therese Bouchard
SABATTUS — Therese Bouchard, 83, of Houle Street, Sabattus, passed away peacefully at her home on Dec. 4 with her loving family by her side.
She was born and raised in St. Eugene, Canada, and attended local schools. She worked as a seamstress at the Pepperell Mill in Lewiston for 18 years, and at several other businesses prior to retiring in 1988.
Therese married Rosaire Bouchard on Nov. 30, 1974, at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Sabattus. She enjoyed reading and playing cards. She loved her family and enjoyed all the beauty there is in life. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, which was always followed by her beautiful smile and wonderful laugh. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Therese is survived by her husband, Rosaire; son, Bertrand Caron; daughters, Rejeanne Caron and partner, Katheryn, and Linda Rioux and husband, Norman; grandchildren, Crystal Lailer and husband, Bill, and William Rioux and partner, Tyler; two great-grandchildren, Steven and Alec, of Lewiston; three sisters and five brothers, all of whom reside in Canada; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Dechamplain Caron, in 1973; two brothers; and one sister.
Her family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice for their exceptional care.
