OES to meet

AUBURN — Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 10, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St. The
meeting will be preceded by an Eastern Star Training Award for Religious
Leadership supper at 6:15 p.m. for a $3 donation.

District 4 Chapters
participating will be Pioneer 11, Lakeside 60 and Pine Cone 26. All money
will go to the ESTARL program. Jerri A. Holt, past grand matron and chairwoman of the program in Maine, will be present.

The chapter will honor all past and present Appointive
Grand Officers with special honors to Stephen Broas, grand warden of the
Grand Chapter of Maine.
The members will bring stuffed Christmas stockings for children to be
given to the Auburn Police. All Eastern Star members are welcome.

Grange program

AUBURN — Danville Junction Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, at the hall. A Christmas program will be presented by the lecturer. Refreshments will be served at the close of the meeting. Members are reminded to bring wrapped gifts marked with age and gender for the Salvation Army. All members and guests are welcome.

Cribbage winners

LEWISTON —
The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Dec. 3 were: tied at first, Guy Dube (two player table) with Bob Leclair and Val Asselin; second, Anna Faucher and Norm Bissonette; third, Claire Jean and Roger Labbe; fourth, Cecile LeBlond and Gary David; fifth, Marty Boyd and Steve Agurkis.
