SOUTH PARIS — The annual Christmas party of the Paris Cape Historical Society will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec, 10, at King’s Hill Inn.

Members and friends are invited to the potluck supper, and those attending are invited to bring a hot dish or salad. Janice Davis will provide the beverages and desserts. Following supper, there will be a business meeting and the group will sing Christmas carols.

The Paris Cape Historical Society museum will be closed until April 2010, when the society will hold their first meeting of the coming year. In May 2010 the museum will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursdays, for visitors wishing to see the collections and to do research.

The society also has a number of items suitable for gift giving, such as books, magnets, paper weights and postcards. Those who wish to purchase items may contact Cynthia Immonen, treasurer, at 743-2384.
