Club will meet from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12. All are welcome to stop by. Those attending may bring holiday items, such as fudge, cookies or
homemade muffins, if they wish.
Church concert
NORWAY — The musicians, members and friends of the Second Congregational
Church of Norway invite the public to their annual Christmastide
Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, in the sanctuary of the church, 205 Main Street.
Surrounded by poinsettias, Christmas trees and traditional
holiday decorations, those attending will hear a concert of
sacred and secular choral music, English hand bell pieces, readings of
the season, a live nativity and afterwards, a reception of holiday treats. The concert is free of charge. All are welcome. For more information, call 743-2290.
Christmas program
WOODSTOCK — The Woodstock Seventh Day Adventist Church
will present a Christmas program at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12. Many participants have offered to share their talents.
The annual Christmas cantata will be performed by The South Woodstock Seventh Day Adventist
Forestdale school children at
6:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18 and at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at the church. The theme this year is “The Best Christmas Present Ever.”
Teen dance
CANTON — A
Christmas dance for teenagers will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Old
Canton Municipal Building. All teenagers 12 years old and up are welcome.
Refreshments will be served. Admission is $2. The event will benefit The Old Canton School

Christmas cantata
LOCKE MILLS — The annual Christmas cantata, “The Gift
Goes On,” will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, at the Locke Mills Union Church. A choir consisting of members
from area churches will be directed by Bev Melville and accompanied by Lynne
Ramsey on the organ. Refreshments will follow. Everyone is welcome.
