The Norumbega Brass Quintet will perform famous Christmas carols and accompany the Androscoggin Chorale. Caron on the “Lewiston A New Home” concert performance. He is currently working toward a master’s degree in choral conducting at Yale School of Music. He will conduct his two pieces.

The Androscoggin Chorale is under the direction of John Corrie, artistic director of the Maine Music Society. Since 2006, Corrie has increased the chorale from 30 to 70 members with diverse backgrounds in music and the performing arts. He holds degrees from Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Northwestern School of Music and Yale School of Music. He is a Fulbright-Hays Scholar and studied organ and harpsichord at the Hochschule fur Musik in Vienna, Austria. He is a lecturer in music at Bates College, where he teaches musicianship; he is also the college choir director.
