JAY — The Daughters of Isabella Circle 677 from St. Rose of Lima Church held their annual Christmas party on Dec. 8 at LaFleur’s Restaurant.
The evening began at 5 p.m. with a happy hour. Silver and Gold provided the music for the group to sing Christmas carols. Diane Maurais went around and asked any member who like to have a Mystery Sister for the up coming year to fill out a paper with their date of birth, anniversary, kitchen color, bathroom color and living room color. She collected the papers, and anyone who filled out a slip of paper drew a name for a new Mystery Sister for the upcoming year.
A raffle was held, with funds raised for Right to Life.
At 6 p.m., the meal was served. Members enjoyed either baked haddock, stuffed chicken or beef medallions. After supper, gifts were handed out to anyone who had a Mystery Sister for the year and members learned who they had for their Mystery Sister. The evening ended at 8 p.m.
