Androscoggin Grange 8 in Greene recently donated free dictionaries to all third graders in Leeds, Greene and Turner. The grange supports the Dictionary Project through its "Words for Thirds" program. Cindy Morin is in charge of the project and she holds a Children’s Variety Show every year in April to raise money to pay for the Dictionary Project. Morin was assisted by other members of the Grange when the dictionaries were delivered, Karen Flagg in Leeds and Turner, with Carol Buzzell assisting in Greene. Third graders at Leeds Central School are pictured with Morin, back left, and their teachers, Mrs. Bohn and Mrs. Deyling, back right.
