Bruce M. Hartmann
1950 – 2009
BRUNSWICK — Bruce M. Hartmann, 59, resident of Washington Lane in Litchfield, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Midcoast Hospital.
He was born June 15, 1950, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He grew up in Brentwood, Long Island, N.Y., and graduated from Brentwood High School, Class of 1968. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1972, and then went on to work at Bath Iron Works for 35 years, as an electrician.
He was a huge Yankees fan and loved to be in a room full of Red Sox fans. He loved cooking and fishing, but most of all he loved being on his boat, fishing with his grandson, or entertaining friends.
Survivors include his two daughters, April and her husband, Tom Evertsen, of Lisbon Falls and Elizabeth and her husband, Steve Rogers, of Lisbon Falls; and a grandson, Alex Evertsen.
He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Theresa Hartmann; and a brother, Edward Hartmann II.
