I voice my continued support for our Lewiston Maineiacs in the midst of a tough season thus far, a tough economic time, and following on the heels of a PR disaster last season. While the team’s recent string of losses is not a point of pride for anyone in the community or anyone involved with the team, there continue to be incredible highlights from this overall young team.

In acknowledging this as a rebuilding season, I am not excusing underperformance. I do, however, recognize and appreciate the hard work that doesn’t always result in a win. As long as the players and staff pour their hearts and talent into their work together, we continue to be in the stands, even during this losing streak.

In a great rink, with great Maineiacs history, we’re hoping for a turnaround.
