Mended hearts

NORWAY — A Vital Connections Mended Hearts meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, in the meeting room of the Harper Conference Center, Stephens Memorial Hospital. The speaker will be Doreen Adams, RN. The topic will be diabetes and cardiovascular risks.

Women to meet

Santa Reading Night and cookie decorating that was scheduled for Dec 9 has been re-scheduled to Weds Dec 16 @ 6:00 at Oxford Recreation Hall. kids are welcome to come in their pjs if they would like. 

Toy swap

BRIDGTON — A toy swap will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Bridgton Community Center, 15 Depot St.

Parents may bring gently used toys to the center to swap for other gently used toys. No money is necessary. Light refreshments will be available. The event will happen “snow or shine.” For more information, contact Carmen at the Bridgton Community Center at 647-3116.

Chinese auction

POLAND — Poland Spring Academy will host a holiday Chinese auction on Sunday, Dec. 13, at the Excelsior Grange Hall, Harris Hill Road. Ticket sales will begin at noon, lasting until 2 p.m., with tickets drawn starting at 2:15. Hot dogs, chili, snacks and drinks will be available. Many holiday gift items will be available, as well as gift certificates to area businesses.
