Jeffery A Gallant

DETROIT, Mich. — Jeffery A. Gallant, 47, of Detroit Mich., and formerly of Rumford, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, at his home.
He was born in Rumford, Dec. 28, 1962, a son of Louis and Francis (Belguard) Gallant. He attended local area schools and graduated from Rumford High School, Class of 1982. He joined the military service as a Marine in 1983.
He worked for United Insulation for many years. He then worked in Detroit as a supervisor for IWC. He married Tammy (Theiss) Gallant on Sept. 29, 1990. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and his dogs, Boomer, Kody and Teddy.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to all Jeffery’s friends and caretakers for all their help and watchful care over the years.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy (Theiss) Gallant of Detroit Mich.; a son, Allen Gallant of Middletown, Conn.; his father, Louis Gallant and wife, Sondra, (Young) Gallant of Wilton; two brothers, Louis (Butch) Gallant Jr. of Rumford and Rick Gallant of Woodstock; two sisters, Cindy Beedy of Mexico and Francine Whittemore of Rumford; his in-laws, Fred and Karen Garms and Tommy Theiss, all of Detroit Mich.; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
He was predeceased by his mother, Francis, in 1990.
