Kenneth L. Wetherell
1939 – 2009
LEWISTON — Kenneth L. Wetherell, 70, of 157 Hebron Road in Buckfield, died at Central Maine Medical Center on Dec. 11. He’s the beloved husband of Brenda Wetherell.
Ken was born in Raynham, Mass., Aug. 20, 1939, the son of Charles E. and Violet (Wilbur) Wetherell and was educated in Massachusetts schools. He and Brenda were married June 20, 1969, in Manhattan, New York City. He had worked for the city of Auburn as a truck driver for more than 20 years, retiring in 1999, due to illness.
He liked word search puzzles, sitting on his deck watching the birds and wildlife and visit with family.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Lanphear) Wetherell of Buckfield; two brothers, Charles L. Wetherell (Deanna) of Lewiston and James S. Wetherell (Debbie) of Buckfield; two sisters, Marjorie Churchill of Turner and Joyce Brooks of Taunton, Mass.; his in-laws, Bobby (Debbie), Larry (Diane), Steven (Janet) Lanphear, Robin Anderson (Jim), all of Waterford, Conn., also Milton Lanphear, Sharon Hines, Dawn Foley, all on New London, Conn., Bonnie Lanphear of Buckfield and Vernon (Debbie) Lanphear of Laconia, N.H.; and a very special nephew and his wife, James R. Wetherell and Janet of Livermore Falls.
Ken, I will really miss you and your special sense of humor. I love you.
