LEWISTON – Dec. 14 results from the Maine Table Tennis League at Lewiston Armory: A Table, 1. John Simpson, 2. Jim Nason; B Table, 1. Sebastian Taylor, 2. Kurt Reinhart; C Table, 1. John Van Dyke, 2. Linda Bartolec.

Van Dyke, 11, was named player of the week. The youngest member of the league, Van Dyke defeated three veteran players to take the top spot in his division this week.

Next week’s Monday play date will be a doubles event. The league also will be open as usual on Wednesday, Dec. 23.
