SOUTH PARIS — The Oxford Hills Rotary Club has announced the December Students of the Month at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School

Students named for December are Meghan Feely, freshman; Mason Douglas, sophomore; Kristina Grenier, junior; and Brittany Turner, senior.

This year is the 10th year of the Rotary Club’s program sponsorship.

Each month, high school staff members nominate students who they feel have “made a difference in their classroom.” The goal of the program is to reward teamwork, positive behavior, extra effort and good student citizenship.

The program is coordinated through the Oxford Hills Community Education Exchange and is part of the character education curriculum at the high school.

The four students were praised for their consistent work ethic, kindness, positive influence on their classmates, volunteer efforts and exemplary high standard for their schoolwork.

The students’ names and picture are placed on a plaque that hangs in the hallway across from the school library. Each month the four students have lunch with the principal and on Dec. 2 they were honored at a Rotary breakfast.
