Maine’s U.S. Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins both voted Tuesday for a proposal that would have allowed Americans to import low-cost prescription drugs made outside the United States. They voted with a majority of senators in favor of the plan, but the vote fell short of the 60 needed to pass. The information was incorrectly reported on the front page of Wednesday’s Sun Journal.
