Salvation Army bell-ringer Joey Carter, 19, does not let Thursday’s 11-degree cold keep him from wishing shoppers at Walmart a Merry Christmas. Carter said he loves ringing the bell and seeing new faces every day. “People are great,” he said. “Some bring me hot chocolate to stay warm.”
