NEWRY — A rope tow was transferred from Vernon Street in Bethel to Sunday River after the resort opened in 1959. The rope tow served as a beginners’ lift. The wrong information ran on Page B8 in Thursday’s paper. It was incorrectly reported to the Sun Journal.
