It is probably time to put Mountain Valley High School back into the class it belongs when a team can run up a score, as its basketball team did, of 106-11. That was the case against Carrabec High School.

Shame on both the players and the coaches of the boys’ varsity basketball team. Would they rather have had the opposing team members crawl out on their hands and knees?

We really hope that doesn’t happen to the Mountain Valley team once it is playing in its own class.

We think it was a total disgrace to their school to have pulled off such a travesty. Is there no sportsmanship in Rumford?

The players could have taken some pride in themselves without running up a score like that.
