OQUOSSOC — The wedding of Kelly Ann Grant and Patrick Stephen O’Neil took place at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Oquossoc at 2 p.m. on June 27. The Rev. Paul Plante officiated at the Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.a nd Mrs. Stephen Grant of Rangeley. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul O’Neil of Cape Elizabeth.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless white satin gown with lace appliques and sequins. She also wore a chapel length veil and carried a bouquet of Calla lilies and white roses. Pinned to the ribbon of her bouquet was a locket containing a picture of her late grandfather, Chris Murray.
Best friend, Jacqueline Spear, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Alicia Frost-Kolva, Karen Wing, friend, Amanda Leach and sister-in-law, Kimberly Grant and Noreen Byrne, sister of the bridegroom. Flower girls were Emily O’Neil, daughter of the bridegroom and Emma Grant, niece of the bride.
Bradley Kennett, Jr. performed the duties of best man for his friend. Ushers were brother-in-law, Chris Byrne, Stephen Grant, brother of the bride and friends, Jamie Sargent, Rick Symes and Zach Mims. Ryder Sargent was ring bearer.
A reception followed at Saddleback Mountain Base Lodge in Rangeley, with family and friends, some of whom came over from Ireland for the occasion. At the reception there was a memory vase in remembrance of Patrick’s brother, Paul.
The bride received a degree in graphic design from Endicott College and owns Lloyd Graphics and also works at the Red Onion Restaurant, both in Rangeley.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Cape Elizabeth High School and is a bartender at Sarge’s Sports Pub and Grub and also works at Saddleback Mountain, also both in Rangeley.
The couple traveled to Puerto Plate in the Dominican Republic for their honeymoon. They are residing in Rangeley.
