Lewiston police responded to 551 calls for service from 7 a.m. Dec. 11 to 7 a.m. Dec. 18. Of those calls, 134 were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal mischief

The side of Central Maine Medical Center at 70 Middle St. was tagged with graffiti before 5:30 p.m. Dec. 15. “Risk 09” was written in white paint.

A vehicle parked at 490 Pleasant St. had a rear window broken sometime between 8 and 10 a.m. Dec. 12.

A window to an apartment at 49 Bradley St. was shot with a BB gun overnight Dec. 15-16.

A computer at the Root Cellar at 89 Birch St. was damaged sometime before 2 p.m. Dec. 11.

The Lewiston Pawn Shop at 383 Lisbon St. was tagged with graffiti the afternoon of Dec. 16. “TCC” was written in spray paint.

A glass entry door to 140 Canal St. was broken overnight Dec. 10-11.

Motor vehicle burglary

Four vehicles in the Southern Gateway Garage were burglarized before 2:30 a.m. Dec. 16. Windows were broken to gain entry.

Glenn Bunnell, 33, was charged with motor vehicle burglary at 3:18 a.m. in the Andover College parking lot on Lisbon Street after an officer came upon the crime in progress.

Burglaries

The Carlton Club at 25 Sabattus St. was damaged during an unsuccessful attempted burglary overnight Dec. 16-17 at the rear of the building.

An apartment at 72 Spring St. was burglarized before 10:30 a.m. Dec. 15; a safe was taken from inside.

A residence at 173 No Name Pond Road was burglarized sometime in the past several weeks. Entry was gained through a cellar door; tools were taken.

An apartment at 196 Pleasant St. was burglarized between 6 and 10:30 p.m. Dec. 15. Property was taken from inside.

An apartment at 100 Pierce St. was burglarized in the previous week. Property was taken.

An apartment at 719 Lisbon St. was burglarized between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. Dec. 13. Two jars of change were taken. Entry was gained through a bedroom window.

Robbery

Nicholas Coy, 25, was charged with robbery, violating conditions of release and theft at 11:30 p.m. Dec. 12. A patron of the Acme Social Club was assaulted and robbed on Dec. 11. The victim was pushed to the floor and his wallet was stolen.

Police chase

Timothy Gilbert, 20, was charged with driving to endanger and failing to stop for officers at 12:10 a.m. Dec. 16 after a brief chase on Sabattus Street. The driver eventually lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a snowbank.

Operating under the influence

Devin Cloutier, 21, was charged with operating under the influence at 1:30 a.m. Dec. 11 at 740 Sabattus St.

Brittany Beaulieu, 24, was charged with operating under the influence at 11:30 p.m. Dec. 12 on the South Bridge after a motor vehicle accident with no injuries.

Vernon White, 26, was charged with operating under the influence at 1:30 a.m. Dec. 13 at Pine and Bates streets.

Kevin Breton, 35, was charged with operating under the influence at 1:12 a.m. Dec. 18 at Sleeper and Merrill roads.
