Society meeting

BETHEL — President Susan Herlihy presided over a special meeting of the Bethel Historical Society on Dec. 17 where the proposed bylaw revisions were considered and discussed by a dozen members. The meeting was announced in the Society’s “Broad Street Herald” mailed along with a copy of the proposed revisions to all members in November.

With the approval of a few minor amendments to the main motion, the revised bylaws were approved by more than the two thirds majority required. Once the approval was voted, the meeting was promptly adjourned by vote of the members present. For more information about the society, visit www.bethelhistorical.org.
