I was shocked when I read the Dec. 17 front page article, “Series of crimes in Lewiston linked to groups of Somali youths.”
I am an elderly lady. I walk in Kennedy Park every day with my little dogs. Attacks have been going on since spring and the public is only now made aware in mid-December. Why was that information kept quiet?
My little dogs have been teased and hit with sticks while we walked in the park. That was bad enough. Now, I read I could be next.
I thank the reporter for writing the story, but no thanks to Lewiston’s boys in blue.
