 LEWISTON — Common Ties Mental Health Services recently awarded Kim Wettlaufer with the Kelsey Award for Quality and Excellence.

Wettlaufer is the Executive Director of the Trinity Jubilee Center in Lewiston. He was recognized for his exceptional contributions to citizens who are in recovery from a mental health illness. The award presentation was made at the annual meeting of Common Ties Mental Health Coalition of Lewiston.

Kenneth Albert, president of the board of Common Ties Mental Health, said, “Kim, you are admired by many, you have inspired our community. You represent all of the virtues and values of our founder, Kelsey Orestis. We congratulate and thank you and acknowledge your work with the 2009 Kelsey Orestis Award for Quality and Excellence.”

Common Ties Mental Health provides an array of community support services to persons who have a mental health illness and is a partner agency of the United Way of Androscoggin County and is a member of the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce.
