AUBURN — As they studied the unabridged Charles Dickens novel, “A Christmas Carol,” Edward Little High School students noticed the 1843 language was a bit odd.
English teacher Carlene Magno, a fan of the Victorian Era and of Dickens, broke down the language as the class digested the novel, and she assigned vocabulary words.
