Arlene S. Witham

1935 – 2009

SCARBOROUGH – Arlene Shirley Witham, 74, of Lyman, passed away in Scarborough on Dec. 25, after a brief illness.

Shirley was born in Lewiston on Feb. 19, 1935. She attended Auburn schools and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1953. While attending high school, Shirley was a majorette. This was among her fondest memories. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Pillsbury Plumbing for many years.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 56 years, Earl L. Witham on Lyman; three daughters, Sheila Martell of Windham, Vicki Witham of Bloomington, Ind., and Gayle Witham of Kennebunk; and a grandson, Cameron Dunbar, also of Kennebunk.
