FARMINGTON — Forcibly entering a Wilton Road apartment, an unknown burglar wasn’t there to leave presents Friday, but to take from the home owners who were away for the day celebrating Christmas.
The residents called police after arriving home Friday evening to find someone had forced their way in to the residence and had taken a television and DVD player, said Farmington Police Detective Marc Bowering. Nothing else appears to be missing from the apartment located near the former Rite Aid building, he said.
The police have some suspects and are continuing their investigation, Bowering said.
