Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Jesse F. Howard has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Howard completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Howard earned distinction as an honor graduate.
He is the son of Gary Howard of Stratton.
Howard graduated in 2003 from Mt. Abram Regional High School and received a bachelors degree in 2008 from Pensacola Christian College, Fla.
