PORTLAND — Girl Scouts of Maine honored Brenda Garrand, president and strategic director of Garrand, a full-service communications agency, at its 13th annual Women of Distinction Dinner on Dec. 2, at the Portland Marriott at Sable Oaks in South Portland.
The Women of Distinction Dinner recognizes Maine women who serve as exemplary role models for today’s girls and young women, and acknowledges the unique achievements of women in all fields.
Garrand, a 1979 graduate of Bates College and former Auburn resident, is recognized in the business community for her entrepreneurship and marketing expertise.
