GREENE — Nomination papers are available for the March 5 municipal election.
Anyone wishing to take out nomination papers must obtain at least 25 signatures and not more than 100 signatures from registered voters in Greene. The nomination papers have to be returned to the office by 4 p.m. Jan. 19.
Three municipal positions need to be filled:
• Two seats on the Board of Selectmen, both three-year terms. The position includes assessor and overseer of the poor.
• One seat on the RSU 52 school board, for a three-year term.
