George Joseph Jalbert

LEWISTON — “George Joseph” Jalbert, 93, died Dec. 20, his son and his companion, Judy Lagasse, by his side.

He was born May 7, 1916, in Bath, son of George and RoseAnna Jalbert. He worked in local shoe factories.

He is survived by a son, Maurice Jalbert and friend, Judy Lagasse, of Wilton; grandchildren, Maurice Jalbert Jr. of Gray and Melissa LaMontagne and husband, Bill, of Auburn; and great-grandchild, Jade LaMontagne.

He was predeceased by wives, Florence Driscoll and Elsie Grenier.
